What is LIVE 2:6?

LIVE 2:6 is a year-long intern programme run by J-Life South Africa, based on 1 John 2:6. It’s designed to help you focus on BEING like Jesus (His character) and DOING what He did (His priorities).

How does a LIVE 2:6 year WORK?

Throughout the year, participants are built up in their faith, equipped with essential biblical knowledge and ministry skills, and empowered to multiply their impact by making disciples who live like Jesus.

WHY join the LIVE 2:6 programme?

It’s a great foundational year for life where you will:

  • Learn more about yourself
  • Understand how to love God and people better
  • Develop skills to live effectively in the Kingdom
  • It’s a fun-filled, informative, and very practical year
  • It’s a gateway year for ministry, studies, and work
  • It’s an awesome opportunity to build new, lasting relationships

J-LIFE AFRICA who we are

J-Life stands for Jesus’ life and we are a non-denominational movement that strives to model our lives and ministries on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

J-Life started in 2001 and was born out of the belief that Jesus is the only hope for our beautiful continent.

LIVE 2:6 is a ministry of J-Life South Africa. J-Life South Africa ran an intern programme for 20 years based just outside of Johannesburg from 2002 – 2022 and we are now running the LIVE 2:6 intern programme based in Cape Town (which started in January 2024).
